We're looking for a Web Manager to own, evolve, and optimize Aera s corporate website the primary digital expression of our brand and demand engine.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role responsible for building and maintaining our WordPress website hosted on WP Engine. you'll partner closely with marketing, product, IT, and external agency teams to ensure our site is performant, visually engaging, and continuously improving.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Demand Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for everything from implementing new pages and layouts to optimizing SEO, performance, and technical integrations. you'll also bring creativity and curiosity recommending new design elements, layouts, and user experiences that resonate with our enterprise audience.
Responsibilities
- Website Management Development:
- Own Aera s WordPress website end-to-end including development, updates, and optimizations.
- Build new sections, pages, and functionality using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Develop and customize templates, modules, and components to support evolving marketing needs.
- Manage hosting, staging, deployment, and version control through WP Engine.
- Ensure site reliability, security, and performance best practices are consistently applied.
- Collaborate with internal developers, IT, and third-party agencies to support integrations, new features, and maintenance.
- Design UX Innovation:
- Partner with the design team to translate Figma mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible web pages.
- Recommend and implement new design elements, layouts, and navigation flows to improve UX and conversion rates.
- Use tools like Figma and Adobe Photoshop for light design edits or component creation.
- Ensure all updates align with brand guidelines and deliver a modern, engaging experience
- SEO Performance Optimization:
- Own technical and on-page SEO including site architecture, structured data, and content optimization.
- Conduct keyword and performance analysis using Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Monitor site speed, crawlability, and indexing; implement optimizations that improve organic visibility.
- Collaborate with content and demand teams to ensure every page supports our organic growth goals.
- AI, LLMs Technical Automation:
- Leverage large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT or Gemini for technical automation e.g., generating code snippets, writing metadata, or QA testing.
- Use AI tools to streamline repetitive web management tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
- Explore emerging technologies such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to future-proof Aera s digital visibility.
- Marketing Automation Analytics
- Build and maintain HubSpot forms, workflows, and landing pages to support campaigns and lead capture.
- Manage analytics and tracking integrations across GA4, GTM, and other Martech tools.
- Ensure proper data flow between the website, CRM, and automation systems for accurate attribution and reporting.
Collaboration Governance
- Work closely with Digital Demand, Product Development, IT, and external vendors to prioritize and execute web initiatives.
- Partner with marketing operations and paid digital agencies to align on campaign landing pages and tracking needs.
- Maintain a consistent release cadence for new updates, ensuring QA and version control processes are followe'd.
About You
- 5+ years of experience developing and managing WordPress websites, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology environments.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (forms, workflows, landing pages).
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and responsive design standards.
- Experience with LLMs for automation, and awareness of GEO and emerging AI search trends.
- Strong analytical mindset with working knowledge of GA4, GTM, and other tracking tools.
- Excellent project management, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset comfortable proposing and executing new ideas.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- WordPress (theme/plugin customization, PHP, CSS, JavaScript)
- Hosting (WP Engine or similar), CDN, and caching optimization
- Technical SEO, site speed, and structured data implementation
Nice to Have
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization tools (e.g., VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize).
- Familiarity with API integrations and headless CMS concepts.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
- Experience managing multilingual or regionalized websites.
