Job Overview

As a Front-End Developer, you’ll collaborate closely with back-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create seamless user interfaces. Your primary focus will be on implementing user-facing features using Django templates, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining code quality. Responsibilities

· Design, build, and maintain high-quality Django web applications, ensuring performance and responsiveness.

· Collaborate with back-end teams to integrate user interfaces with server-side logic.

· Implement and maintain data storage solutions using Django ORM.

· Manage RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between front-end and back-end components.

· Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.

· Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experiences.

· Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance application performance.

· Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

· Strong understanding of Django ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) for efficient database handling.

· Mastery of Django’s template language for generating dynamic HTML content.

· Familiarity with Django REST framework for building Web APIs.

· Knowledge of class-based views to organise application logic.

· Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· Understanding of security features in Django (e.g., XSS protection, CSRF protection).

· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (preferred).
