Web Developer

As a Web Developer, your role will involve developing and maintaining responsive WordPress and Shopify websites for clients. This includes customizing themes and plugins for WordPress or apps and templates for Shopify based on client requirements. You will be responsible for optimizing website performance by ensuring speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Additionally, you will integrate third-party tools, APIs, CRM platforms, and eCommerce solutions. Collaboration with designers, marketers, and content creators is essential to ensure smooth project execution. Troubleshooting issues, performing site migrations, and ensuring regular backups will also be part of your responsibilities. It is crucial to ensure all websites are secure, updated, and aligned with industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain responsive WordPress and Shopify websites for clients. - Customize themes and plugins (WordPress) or apps and templates (Shopify) as per client requirements. - Optimize website performance including speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. - Integrate third-party tools, APIs, CRM platforms, and eCommerce solutions. - Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to ensure smooth project execution. - Troubleshoot issues, perform site migrations, and ensure regular backups. - Ensure all websites are secure, updated, and aligned with industry best practices. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in WordPress CMS, Shopify, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Strong understanding of Elementor, WPBakery, and other popular page builders. - Experience with theme and plugin (WordPress) or app and theme (Shopify) development/customization. - Solid knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website optimization techniques. - Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console). - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Basic knowledge of cPanel, hosting environments, and domain setup. Good to Have: - Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify Plus, and other eCommerce platforms. - Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. - Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. - Prior experience working in a digital agency or fast-paced client environment. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. Prior experience with WordPress is preferred. Work location is in person.
