As a Web Application QA Specialist with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web applications by applying fundamental testing principles throughout the test life cycle. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating comprehensive test plans and strategies for functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing - Developing test cases and test data to validate the functionality of web applications - Conducting React/Next.js component testing to ensure the quality of component-based UIs, including state management and component lifecycle testing - Performing API testing for both REST and GraphQL APIs, covering authentication, authorization, and performance validation - Utilizing bug tracking tools such as Jira and Asana, as well as test management platforms like Zephyr, TestRail, or qTest for effective bug tracking and test management - Implementing responsive and cross-browser testing strategies to ensure the compatibility of web applications across various devices and browsers - Conducting accessibility testing based on WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines to ensure compliance with accessibility standards - Applying web security testing knowledge to identify OWASP vulnerabilities and ensure data privacy compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA - Utilizing version control with Git, including branching strategies and collaborative workflows - Writing UI tests using tools like Cypress or Playwright and gaining experience in test automation frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or React Testing Library.
