Join us as a Wealth Advisory professional in India at Barclays, where we offer Trust & Fiduciary Services tailored to entrepreneurs and private clients, including Ultra High Net worth and High Net worth families and individuals. As part of our role, we provide technical expertise to identify opportunities aimed at safeguarding clients" wealth through trust & fiduciary structures and solutions. Our service portfolio encompasses administering private family trusts, employee welfare trusts, alternative investment funds, acting as a Trustee/Administrator, managing escrow mechanisms, and offering insurance solutions. To excel in the Wealth Advisory role, you will engage with various internal stakeholders, senior management, Trust & Fiduciary Front Office, Trust Operations team, accounts & tax team, auditors, as well as external stakeholders such as legal advisors, law firms, external auditors, accounting/tax consultants, and clients. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the Business Plan and drive financials/revenue, NNA for the Trust & Fiduciary Services business - Engage with prospects & clients to provide structuring solutions for wealth planning needs - Collaborate with India & Overseas bankers, Wealth Advisors to deliver solutions aligned with the Global Indians proposition - Build sustainable relationships with KBI, Intermediary network for effective relationship management & delivery - Support PBWM India in achieving NNA & Revenue targets - Act as a member on internal forums like the India Trusts - Business Acceptance Forum - Demonstrate client engagement skills by reviewing requirements, sourcing data, ensuring compliance, and proposing innovative solutions - Develop a comprehensive understanding of Indian Trust & Fiduciary services industry to resolve complex issues and deliver impactful solutions Desirable Qualifications: - Degree level education - Legal, Tax qualification - Trust & Estate Practitioner certification - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to adapt to a changing environment and rapidly assimilate new information - Working knowledge of international laws relevant to Global Indian clients This role is based at Nirlon Knowledge Park, Mumbai. Purpose of the role: To oversee the development and management of specific financial products and services, providing expertise on product features, functionalities, and compliance. The role involves bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.
