Job Description

Responsibilities

10+ years of overall IT experience, with 7+ years in Teradata DBA and Architecture roles.
In-depth knowledge of Teradata Vantage / 15.x / 16.x / 17.x platforms.
Strong expertise in: Teradata DBA utilities BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPT.
Performance tuning, workload management (TASM), and partitioning.
Backup and Recovery using BAR / NetBackup / DSA.Teradata Viewpoint, DBQL, ResUsage tables.
Experience with SQL optimization, explain plans, and statistics collection.
Strong skills in Linux/Unix scripting (Shell, Python, or Perl).
Knowledge of data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio) and ETL concepts.
Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Teradata VantageCloud
