Job Summary:

The Wax Pulling Technician will be responsible for operating wax injection machines to produce clean, accurate, and high-quality wax patterns. The role requires hands-on experience in wax pulling, good understanding of mould handling, and maintaining consistent production quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Wax Injection (Wax Pulling)

Operate manual or automatic wax injection machines to create precise wax models.

Set and maintain appropriate temperature, pressure, and injection timing based on mould requirements.

Ensure wax material is clean and at proper viscosity before use.

Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality.

2. Mould Handling

Clean, prepare, and align rubber or silicone moulds before injection.

Identify mould issues (leakage, misalignment, wear & tear) and report them immediately.

Maintain mould storage and ensure proper labelling.

3. Quality Check of Wax Models

Inspect each wax piece for defects such as short fills, cracks, dents, air bubbles, or deformities.

Rework minor issues when possible; segregate defective pieces.

Ensure every wax piece meets size, shape, and detail accuracy.

4. Machine & Workspace Maintenance

Perform basic cleaning and daily maintenance of the wax injection machine.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Monitor wax consumption and inform supervisor about low stock.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily production logs.

Inform the supervisor about mould issues, machine problems, or quality deviations.

Coordinate with the QC and tree-making teams for workflow smoothness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12 years of hands-on experience in Wax Pulling (Wax Injection).
• Understanding of jewellery casting workflow.
• Ability to operate different types of wax injection machines.
• Strong attention to detail and steady hand skills.
• Ability to meet daily production targets.
• Good coordination and team communication.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to handle small jewellery components.
• Good eyesight and handeye coordination.
• Comfortable working in a production environment.
