Water Resources Engineer

As a Hydraulic Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, focusing on designing, analyzing, and optimizing hydraulic systems and components for projects related to Water Supply Systems, Sewerage Systems, and Storm Water Drainage Systems. Your role will require a solid technical background in hydraulics, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with fellow engineering professionals. Your responsibilities will include data collection, preparing feasibility reports, detailed project reports, design specifications, and drawings. You will be tasked with designing hydraulic systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hydraulic components, and finalizing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Cost Estimates. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate hydraulic systems into larger projects will be a key aspect of your role. It will also be important to stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and technologies to ensure the application of best practices. The qualifications we are looking for include a Master's degree in Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering (preferred), along with experience in hydraulic system design and analysis. Proficiency in hydraulic design software such as Water Gems, Sewer Gems, SWMM/HEC-RAS, GIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office is essential. Preferred skills for this role include a solid understanding of hydraulic principles, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and documentation skills, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring in-person work at our designated location.
