Warehouse Manager

To manage and control all warehouse operations at the Eicher Depot, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and inventory management of parts and materials in line with company policies and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including inbound (receipts), storage, picking, and outbound (dispatch) operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely receipt and dispatch of Eicher spare parts, vehicles, and other materials.
• Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expire-First-Out) principles to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety across all warehouse areas.
  

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records through the ERP/WMS system (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile variances with physical inventory.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and ensure replenishment planning.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely inventory availability.
  

3. Manpower & Resource Management

• Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily duties, and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Train and develop warehouse staff in safety, process adherence, and system usage.
• Plan shift schedules and manpower allocation to meet operational requirements.
  

4. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

• Ensure adherence to Eichers safety standards, fire safety protocols, and PPE compliance.
• Implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company and statutory norms related to warehousing, labor, and EHS.
  

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain all necessary documentation for receipts, dispatches, and stock audits.
• Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports (stock, dispatch, GRN, etc.).
• Support internal and external audits (commercial, safety, and process).

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control systems.
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/WMS systems.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• Experience:

  3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industry (Eicher or similar brand experience preferred).
