Job Description

Job purpose

Warehouse workers work in warehouses where they receive, unpack, arrange and store goods, and gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatching. Warehouse workers check stock for damage and wear, report faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and mark and label stock.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

Order Management:

Organize and prepare orders for pickup and delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Packing and Labelling :

Ensure all items are properly packed, labeled, and ready for loading and shipment according to company standards.

Inventory Management:

Maintain and update inventory records regularly to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient order fulfillment.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with co-workers, supervisors, and other departments to support smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and maintain warehouse machinery and equipment safely and effectively for various tasks.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Quality Assurance:

Perform duties in accordance with company quality policies, maintaining high standards in all warehouse operations.

Issue Reporting:

Promptly report any discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
