Warehouse - Assistant Manager

Role Overview: As an Assistant Warehouse Manager at Voylla Fashions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include assisting in inventory management, supervising staff, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring warehouse operations. - Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods to maintain accuracy and efficiency, while keeping up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries. - Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the warehouse. - Provide supervision and training to warehouse staff to enhance their performance. - Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure timely dispatch of goods. - Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes. - Address discrepancies and resolve any warehouse-related issues effectively. - Maintain equipment, ensure its proper maintenance, and uphold warehouse cleanliness standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred. - Demonstrated experience of 4-6 years in warehouse operations or a similar role. - Strong organizational and leadership abilities. - Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office, particularly Excel. - Capable of working under pressure, multitasking, and adapting to different shifts if needed. - Knowledge of inventory control systems and familiarity with lean warehousing principles.
