Warehouse and Operations Manager

As a Warehouse and Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing warehouse operations and ensuring seamless processes to support the rapid growth of the brand. Your responsibilities will include: Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse's end-to-end operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, space planning, manpower management, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Warehouse Operations Management: - Lead and oversee daily warehouse functions such as inbound, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns. - Ensure operational activities meet SLAs, safety standards, and process adherence. - Implement and enhance SOPs for each warehouse function. - TAT & Process Monitoring: - Maintain Inbound and Outbound TAT targets for timely processing and delivery. - Track and improve Ready to Use (RU) percentage to ensure prompt inventory processing. - Warehouse Space Utilization: - Optimize warehouse layout and bin management for maximum storage and throughput. - Forecast capacity needs for future scaling based on space usage metrics. - Ticket & Escalation Management: - Resolve warehouse-related escalations from internal teams, delivery partners, or marketplaces promptly. - Identify root causes and implement preventive actions for issue resolution. - Manpower Efficiency & Management: - Plan, train, and oversee warehouse workforce to drive productivity and enforce quality and safety protocols. - Lead staffing planning for peak sales periods and new launches. - Cost Optimization: - Implement cost-saving initiatives in warehousing, packaging, and logistics. - Collaborate with 3PLs and vendors to reduce shipment costs while maintaining quality. - Inventory Accuracy & Audits: - Conduct cycle count processes, audits, and maintain inventory accuracy above 99%. - Implement a zero-tolerance policy for shrinkage or stock discrepancies. - Cross-functional Coordination: - Act as a central point of contact between various teams such as Supply Chain, Marketplace, D2C, and Customer Service. - Collaborate with business and planning teams for effective coordination. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in WMS platforms, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic reporting tools. - Working knowledge of order management tools like Unicommerce, Shopify, or similar platforms is preferred. - Previous experience in managing warehouse operations for fashion, lifestyle, or high-SKU businesses is highly desirable. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems effectively, lead teams, and analyze data.
