Warehouse and Laydown Supervisor

As a Material Management Specialist at Bechtel, you will play a crucial role in overseeing material management activities for a project or jobsite. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with corporate policies related to material receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security, and equipment issue. Additionally, you will be monitoring employee utilization, work hours, and staffing to facilitate accurate, efficient, and timely material management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for material management activities for a project or jobsite. - Ensure compliance with corporate policies for material receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security, and equipment issue. - Monitor employee utilization, work hours, and staffing for efficient material management. - Manage material activities for project temporary operating and jobsite locations on a medium-sized project. - Identify and process all UOS&D material and equipment received at project temporary operating and jobsite locations. - Take actions to dispose of material and equipment declared excess to project needs. - Prepare recommendations for facilities and equipment required for professional material management operations at project temporary and jobsite locations. **Qualification Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. - Knowledge of materials management automated systems and interfaces, as well as data sharing and management. - Ability to integrate materials management with project work packaging strategy. - Strong organizational skills. - Understanding of materials management functions on a construction project. - Demonstrated leadership skills. - Broad knowledge of standard field procurement procedures.
