You will be working as a Wardrobe & Cabinetry Designer at Newage Concepts, a company known for its cutting-edge style and quality luxury home furnishings. Your role involves designing, producing, and showcasing custom-made furniture using traditional hand skills and advanced materials and technology for individuals in the residential market. **Key Responsibilities:** - Have a complete understanding of factory-made modular furniture such as kitchens, wardrobes, and other storage units. - Determine the scope, client's taste, vision, and requirements for each project. - Sketch preliminary design plans considering all components like plumbing, lighting, existing electricals, and user needs. - Research and gather information and produce sample boards for client presentations. - Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, and models using CAD software. - Collaborate with architects and other professionals to ensure optimal use of space and meet design requirements. - Specify materials and furnishings, identify new business opportunities, and stay updated on industry developments. **Qualifications Required:** - Relevant degree/diploma in interior design from a reputable institute. - Proficiency in Auto CAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop. - 3-5 years of experience in the home interior segment. - Strong artistic ability, creativity, attention to detail, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of software like Enscape, and good drawing skills including perspective drawing. This is a full-time position based in Gurgaon, Haryana. You must have the ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. The company prefers candidates with a Diploma in interior design and at least 3 years of experience in detailed wardrobe & cabinetry drawings.
