Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ward, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patients for side effects and efficacy.

Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all care provided and any changes in patient status.

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, post-discharge care, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing initial care and notifying appropriate medical staff.

Participate in ward rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to patient care planning and decision-making.

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.

Proven experience in a hospital ward setting is highly preferred.

Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
