Ward Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in the ward. With at least one year of clinical experience, the nurse should be able to carry out routine ward duties, monitor patient health, administer medications, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted to the ward.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report abnormal findings to the medical officer.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as per physician’s orders.
• Assist doctors during patient rounds and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure infection control practices are followed.
• Prepare and maintain ward equipment and supplies.
• Support new or junior staff as required.
