Wanted Dance Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join our school’s arts faculty. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of dance styles, possess strong classroom management abilities, and have a deep enthusiasm for inspiring students through movement and performance. The Dance Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging dance lessons, preparing students for performances, and fostering an appreciation for dance as an art form.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

· Plan, develop, and deliver age-appropriate dance lessons aligned with school curriculum and standards.

· Teach a variety of dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, cultural/folk) based on the program focus.

· Prepare students for recitals, showcases, competitions, or school productions.

· Foster creativity, confidence, discipline, and teamwork in students.

· Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

· Collaborate with other arts faculty, classroom teachers, and administration.

· Organize and manage costumes, music, and stage rehearsals for performances.

· Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

Qualification:

· Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, Education, or related field (required).

· Experience teaching dance to children or adolescents in a school or studio setting.

· Strong knowledge of dance techniques, history, and choreography.

· Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

· Ability to work with diverse student populations and adapt instruction to meet varied learning needs

Preferred skills

· Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

· Experience choreographing for school productions or dance competitions.

· Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
