Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions regularly.
Administer medications, injections, and manage intravenous lines as prescribed by doctors.
Assist doctors during rounds, medical procedures, and ensure smooth coordination for patient care.
Educate and counsel patients and their families on health care, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure infection control, hygiene, and cleanliness in the patient care area.
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or critical care as needed.
Participate in continuous training, audits, and staff meetings to improve patient care practices.
Collaborate with pharmacy, lab, and housekeeping departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Manage consumables and non-consumables, and support OT or specific unit needs if assigned.
Maintain professionalism and empathetic communication with patients, families, and team members.
