Job Title: Network Support Engineer Experience: 3 -6 years Location: Bangalore Qualification: Bachelor's or Masters Degree in IT or related field Certifications: IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are an added advantage Roles and Responsibilities: Install and configure new hardware and software, including servers, workstations, projectors, and other networking equipment. Maintain and administer the organization's network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, LANs, and VPNs. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to both data and voice communication . Provide training and technical guidance to new staff on the company's IT infrastructure. Support and maintain the IT help desk, including managing ticketing systems and end-user queries. Suggest, plan, and implement improvements and IT solutions aligned with business needs. Manage and maintain critical IT systems including data centers , Syslog servers , proxy servers , and other infrastructure services. Demonstrate a solid understanding of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems as well as scripting for automation and troubleshooting. Apply strong knowledge of switching and routing technologies to optimize network performance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient IT service delivery and network reliability. Preferred Skills: Proficient in configuring and maintaining Cisco network devices. Good command of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
