Job Description

Job Summary: As a Cafe Crew Member, you will provide excellent customer service and ensure the cafe runs smoothly. You will greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean and organized cafe environment. Responsibilities: Greet customers as they enter the cafe and take their orders Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream sundaes, hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies Prepare and serve food items, including sandwiches, salads, pastries, and other baked goods Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment Operate cash registers and handle customer payments Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines Answer customer questions and provide recommendations on menu items Collaborate with other cafe staff to ensure that the cafe is running efficiently • • Perform other duties as assigned by the Cafe Manager or Supervisor Requirements: Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed Basic math and cash handling skills • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
