VP, Workday Security Solution Architect

You are a highly skilled Workday Security Solution Architect responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and compliant Workday security frameworks. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing the security vision and strategy defined by the VP, Workday Security and Compliance Lead. Your focus will involve hands-on configuration, technical design, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure Workday security aligns with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. As a Solution Architect, you will provide subject matter expertise on Workday security frameworks, including domain and business process security policies, security groups, and user access management. You will support Workday security architecture reviews and contribute technical recommendations to enhance security posture. Collaboration with HR, Global Cyber Security, Global Technology Services, and Compliance teams will be essential to define and refine access controls, user provisioning, and segregation of duties. Additionally, you will execute security configuration changes and maintain documentation for architecture, policies, and procedures. Audits and risk assessments will be conducted under the guidance of the Compliance Lead to ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards such as SOX and GDPR. Participation in Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations will be necessary to address security considerations, and providing mentorship and technical guidance to Workday security professionals will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field (master's preferred), along with 7+ years of experience in Workday, with at least 3 years focused on Workday security architecture. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, and Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Pro in Security) are considered a plus.
