VP Sales and Distribution

Role Overview: As a part of the Global Asset Management team at HSBC, you will play a key role in managing the distributor channel network to promote products and achieve sales targets. Your responsibilities will include working with key distributors, building new distribution channels, managing institutional clients, and demonstrating ethical business practices aligned with HSBC values. Additionally, you may need to engage directly with clients, hence requiring strong selling skills and market knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Manage key focus distributors across Banks and National Distributors, including those in the Wealth and Personal Banking Segment. - Collaborate with Group Distribution entities to enhance the network. - Identify and develop new distribution channels within the IFA segment. - Explore avenues for business expansion and increase market share. - Cultivate regional level relationships within the market. - Handle key institutional clients and drive sales. - Uphold ethical business practices and HSBC values. Qualification Required: The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and experience: - Solid understanding of mutual fund products. - Strong selling skills, commercial acumen, and interpersonal skills. - Effective verbal and written communication abilities. - Experience in Wealth management with at least 10 to 12 years in a client-facing role related to Mutual Fund Sales. - Postgraduate qualification is preferred. - Candidates passionate about mutual fund sales but lacking the specified experience/education are also encouraged to apply.
