VP Operations

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical engineering). Added qualification in Business Administration preferred.

- Experience: proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing industry with at least 5 yrs as a Profit Centre Head. Candidates from Pigments /Paints industry preferred. Suitable candidates from allied chemical processing industries can also be considered.

- Skills: Strong operational management, strategic planning, financial management, and leadership skills.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

- Vision to develop the company.

- Operational Management: oversee daily operations to ensure smooth operations, efficient production meeting targets, supply chain management

- Financial Management - manage budgets and financial performance, manage costs effectively, improve operational efficiencies, improve profitability to maximise return to shareholders

- Business Strategy Development: develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.

- Marketing: Drive sales to achieve revenue targets, develop strong relationships with key customers, identify new markets to expand customer base, Market intelligence on competition to stay ahead of the curve

- Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, motivation and mentoring.

- Innovation and Improvement: Lead improvement initiatives, be updated on industry developments and technological improvements, and adopt best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

- Be a leader focussed on Safety, Environmental Management and compliance to Regulatory requirements and navigate complex operational challenges
