Volunteers

Prayan Foundation is inviting driven and socially conscious individuals to join as Volunteers for a 6-month commitment to serve the society. This program offers the opportunity to directly contribute to grassroots change, gain real-world experience, and grow as a responsible leader of tomorrow. Volunteers will have the following roles: - Conduct menstrual hygiene awareness sessions in rural and underserved areas. - Distribute hygiene kits and promote basic health practices in communities. - Organize workshops on sanitation, nutrition, and personal care. - Participate in tree plantation drives and cleanliness campaigns. - Raise awareness on waste management, sustainability, and eco-friendly practices. - Lead social media campaigns promoting climate action and green living. - Coordinate and assist in food distribution drives for underprivileged communities. - Collaborate with local vendors, donors, and shelters to ensure food availability. - Raise awareness about hunger and nutrition through storytelling and campaigns. - Conduct weekend teaching sessions, both in-person and online. - Distribute educational resources and learning kits to underserved children. - Mentor students and assist in tracking their academic progress. Key Responsibilities include: - Engaging with local communities to understand ground realities. - Planning, executing, and documenting project-related activities. - Collaborating with teams to amplify impact through social media and fundraising. - Supporting volunteer recruitment and mentorship efforts within your region. Who Can Apply: - Students, working professionals, or anyone passionate about social development. - Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Commitment of 46 hours per week for a period of 6 months. - Open to both remote and on-ground roles depending on location and availability.
