Roles and responsibilities of Vocational Trainer (VT): Trainer will motivate students to opt Vocational trades and ensure enrolment at least 40 students in each class. Trainer will ensure, to maintain and provide student profile and progress status of all students on quarterly basis to the ADPC/District Coordinator of VE after verification by the Principal. Conduct Theory and Practical Classes as per the prescribed syllabus and adherence to the plan shared to the Department and agreed upon. Alignment with Academic Calendar is must for the class and the job role. Work in School under Principals direction for vocational scheme activities i.e. field visits, guest lectures, internships, lab setup, on the job training, apprenticeship, placement and meetings. Maintenance of records, periodical reports, conducts class activities and ensures to update in MIS (Management Information System) Strengthening network for inviting Industrial experts and guest faculty. Ensure lab is in good working condition. VT will maintain, stock register, Equipment, Machines, Tools, Raw Materials and Consumable items. List of consumable items if required will be submitted on monthly basis to Principal and material will be provided for lab as per norms. Maintain daily diary of lesson plan and work done which needs to be counter signed by the Principal regularly. Ensure all students to create and maintain student's portfolio in last week of month. Portfolios of all enrolled students must be completed, updated and verified by VT. Portfolios must contain all the information related to theory, Practical sessions, Guest Lectures, Industry visit and any other relevant information related to updates on exposure and experience gained. Monthly Progress Report comprise the information related with adherence to courseware completed in the month as per the prescribed syllabus, Guest Lectures being delivered in the school, Class wise and with the name of Guest Lecturer (Name, Contact Details and Topic covered during Guest Lecture), Quarterly Industry visit planned and executed in the month (Class wise, Dates, Venues, Industry visited and topics which were covered during the Industry visit), Status of Indents submitted and compliances, Monthly Internal Assessment, status of students, Status of Student Portfolios (Number of Completed and Verified/ Incomplete) up to the Month, Innovations, Success Story, Gaps, Support Required etc should be prepared by VT. Conduct internal examination as per the norms. Ensure enrolment and 100% attendance of students. Conducting soft skill training including preparing the Students for work readiness and jobs as per the industry requirement. Conducting Mock Interviews and preparing students with skills in communication and handling self during interviews. Vocational Trainers will coordinate with Principal for community mobilization in school. Prepare students for practical assessment and viva-voice before practical exam. Assisting in Assessment and certification. Maintaining and reporting through SMIS (Students Management Information System), Field visits, publicity, guidance, counseling, security of students while industrial/field visit, arrangement industrial visit, mobilize students and conduct counseling session, any other instructions.

Scope Of The Job Role This position is responsible for managing a State level Project Management Unit based out of the Education Department (Samagra Shiksha) Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Dy/Assistant Manager (Skill Education) will work on a strategic roadmap to execute the project and also will coordinate for the monitoring and tracking of the project He/ She will coordinate with external & State parties (State Board, SCERT, Sector Skill Councils, Vocational Training Providers, P.S.S.C.I.V.E and other components of the Education Department (Samagra Shiksha), etc.) for the successful delivery of School based vocational education program in Andhra Pradesh. Reports to State Lead Job Responsibilities Manage the State P.M.U for effective implementation of the Vocational/Skill Education Program. Liaison and support Samagra Shiksha officials in planning, execution and monitoring of vocational/skill education activities throughout the school academic year. Manage MIS (Monitoring & Information system) for real time monitoring of projects, plan for data collection and reporting to provide data-based decision making. Present the progress of project to State officials/ Org management based on large dataset analytics & insights gathered via excel and online MIS system. Document and draft official letters and proposals, file notes, presentations, etc. Develop monitoring strategies and ensure timely implementation of program requisites. Budgeting and planning vocational education components for Samagra Shiksha and Lend A Hand India program. Engaging stakeholders at various levels including schools, industries, and government entities. Operating with minimal supervision in ambiguous or uncertain scenarios. Organize and facilitate/lead meetings and events with multiple stakeholders. Coordination with various state departments and external parties (such as N.S.D.C., Sector Skill Councils, Vocational Training Providers, P.S.S.C.I.V.E, District officials etc.) involved in the execution of vocational/skill education. Engagement and advocacy with State and district administration and developing avenues for interdepartmental collaborations. Keep oneself updated with the latest schemes and govt Programs relevant to the skill ecosystem. Responsible to lead meetings and deliver presentations. Flexibility to travel within State. Requirements Experience and Skills we are looking for: Overall experience of 5-10+ years (Govt PMU management, Working with State level Senior bureaucrats on Education related project implementation) Prior experience of working in Govt department PMU setup, working with Senior bureaucrat (IAS officials) at State level, experience of managing Education project at State level is preferred Ability to lead State PMU and manage/guide team members who are part of PMU Experience of working with government agencies, especially at the state level. Experience of working in Skill Education or development domain such as Education, Livelihood Strong experience & expertise in working with Senior State level bureaucrats (Policy/guideline draft preparation, State level presentation) Ability to manage Govt projects at State level (tender work-technical support, desk research work, orientation to senior officials about project details) Strong Expertise in Technical project writing work & data analytics-Report writing (Word, PPT) & large datasets analysis using excel Proficient in drafting official letters, note sheets, proposals, concept notes, SOPs, making presentations etc (preferred) Proficient in managing large database & its analytics through excel and experience of using analytics & visualization tools Strong negotiation and persuasion skills especially with Senior Bureaucrats/ Senior partners/management Proficient in communicating ideas, strategy to State level Senior Govt officers Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English & Telugu Experience of Managing team, people Graduation in any stream (preferably technical field) PG in Social/ Education Sector (desirable)
