As a VMware L3 Administrator with expertise in VMware Virtual SAN (vSAN) and Azure VMware Solution (AVS), you will be a valuable addition to the IT infrastructure team. Your primary role involves managing, optimizing, and scaling VMware environments, focusing on advanced vSAN and AVS operations and troubleshooting. Your technical proficiency, leadership in virtualization projects, and proactive system management approach will be crucial in this role. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, configuring, and managing advanced VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Azure VMware Solution (AVS) environments for high availability, performance, and scalability. - Leading troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues in vSphere, vSAN, and AVS, providing L3 support, and conducting root cause analysis. - Optimizing vSAN and AVS configurations for maximum efficiency and performance, including hardware selection, network design, and storage configuration. - Implementing and overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for virtual environments to ensure data integrity and system resilience. - Planning and executing upgrades, patches, and configuration changes across VMware environments with minimal disruption to business operations. - Ensuring compliance of VMware deployments with company standards and industry best practices using vSphere Lifecycle Manager. Your performance will be evaluated based on the following parameters: 1. Contribution to customer projects, including quality, SLA adherence, ETA, number of tickets resolved, problems solved, change requests implemented, zero customer escalations, and CSAT scores. 2. Automation initiatives for process optimization, reduction in steps, and decrease in the number of tickets raised. 3. Skill enhancement through completion of trainings and certifications, as well as participation in writing papers and articles related to VMware technologies.
