VMware Administrator-L2

As a VM Ware Administrator, your role will involve managing VMware vSphere and VMware ESXi hosts, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance. You will be responsible for managing VMware vCenter Server for centralized management of ESXi hosts and virtual machines (VMs). Additionally, you will create, deploy, and manage virtual machines (VMs) and templates. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and manage VMware clusters, resource pools, and high availability settings. - Manage storage solutions, including VMware vSAN and NFS. - Handle networking within VMware environments, including the configuration of vSwitches and Distributed Switches. - Manage configuration and performance of storage and network resources. - Implement and maintain backup solutions for virtual machines and critical VMware infrastructure. - Develop and test disaster recovery plans for VMware environments. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual machines, host servers, storage, and network resources. - Provide technical support to teams using the VMware environment for hosting applications or services. - Maintain documentation for VMware systems, configurations, and procedures. Qualifications Required: - Graduation / Engineering in IT background. - 3+ years of experience in VMware administration.
