Position Overview The Level 3 Windows and VMware Specialist with SCOM, HCI and DFS knowledge is a critical role in the IT department, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's Windows server environments, VMware virtualization infrastructures, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), and Distributed File System (DFS) solutions. Having extensive experience in managing and maintaining System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) environments will add advantage. Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with IT team members, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Implement security measures to protect the SCOM environment. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Windows Server environments and VMware virtualization. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions and Distributed File System (DFS). Proficient in Windows server administration, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting. Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN. Strong understanding of SCOM architecture and components. Experience with SCOM management packs, overrides, and customizations. Experience with integrating SCOM with other monitoring and ITSM tools. Role Purpose The purpose of this role to deliver great customer service/experience by effectively acknowledging, tracking, and prioritizing all client cases as per the regulatory guidelines, and ensuring resolution as per the defined SLAs, by allocating the same to the relevant support team.
