Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a VMC Setter located in Chennai. The VMC Setter will be responsible for setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMC), ensuring proper calibration and alignment, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The individual will also be required to follow safety protocols and collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and understanding their operations
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of VMC & CNC setting
• Ability to perform effecient setting with minimum turnaround time
• Strong attention to picking the right tool.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus
• Technical diploma or certification in machining or related field is preferred
