Visualization Lead

As a Data Analytics Senior Analyst at Citigroup, you will be a seasoned professional applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes and work-flows. You will integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requiring a deep understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Your role will involve evaluating moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, using good analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential as you will regularly assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams and be involved in coaching and training new recruits. Your performance will have a significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc., influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitating services to others in your area of specialization. **Responsibilities:** - Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and work-flows. - Coordinate and contribute to the objectives of data science initiatives and overall business by leveraging an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function. - Assume informal/formal leadership roles by coaching and training new recruits. - Influence decisions, work, and performance of all teams through advice, counsel, and facilitating services to others in the business. - Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications, make strategic recommendations, and develop data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis. - Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality. - Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems, identify required data, assess time & effort required, and establish project plans. - Consult with business clients to identify system functional specifications and recommend solutions to solve complex system issues/problems. - Lead system change process from requirements through implementation, providing user and operational support of applications to business users. - Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects, considering the business implications of technology application to the current business environment. - Drive communication between business leaders and IT, exhibiting sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information. - Assess risks when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. **Qualifications:** - 5-8 years of experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets. - Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques. - Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. **Education:** - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
