Visualization Engineer

The Visualization & Storytelling (Analytics) Engineer is responsible for transforming complex data into compelling visual narratives that drive decision-making and communicate insights effectively. This role combines expertise in data analytics, visualization tools, and storytelling to create impactful dashboards, reports, and presentations that resonate with diverse stakeholders. As a Visualization & Storytelling (Analytics) Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop interactive dashboards, charts, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or D3.js. Your work will involve presenting data insights clearly and effectively through visually appealing representations. In addition to data visualization development, you will also be tasked with crafting data-driven narratives that translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborating with data analysts and scientists, you will extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making. Furthermore, your role will involve close collaboration with business units, product managers, and executives to understand requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and tailor visualizations to meet their specific needs. Leveraging programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, as well as visualization libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly, you will build custom visualizations and automate workflows to enhance data storytelling capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role should have expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly), Flask, Streamlit, and other relevant tools and technologies.
