Visual Arts Teacher

As a Visual Arts Teacher, your role involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in various visual art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. You will be responsible for fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills among students. Additionally, your duties will include: - Developing and adapting curriculum to align with school standards and state/national visual arts frameworks. - Assessing student progress through portfolios, exhibitions, and formative/summative evaluations. - Organizing student art displays, exhibitions, and participating in school-wide art-related events. - Maintaining an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. - Incorporating contemporary and historical art knowledge into lessons to provide cultural context. - Communicating with parents/guardians regarding student progress and development. - Collaborating with other teachers and departments on interdisciplinary projects. - Participating in professional development and school community activities. To qualify for this position, you should have a strong background in art education, a dynamic teaching approach, and a passion for cultivating a love for art in students of all abilities. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. Additionally, the work location is in person.,
