Role Description

Responsible for teaching pattern drafting, garment construction, sewing techniques, and related practical skills to fashion design students. Ensures high-quality hands-on training and academic delivery as per institutional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach pattern making, draping, and garment construction (theory & practical).
• Conduct demonstrations on sewing machines and drafting tools.
• Guide students in practical work, assignments, and projects.
• Prepare lesson plans, practical samples, and learning materials.
• Evaluate students through practical's, viva, and assignments.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety in the garment lab.
• Assist in academic events, workshops, and exhibitions.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of pattern drafting and garment construction.
• Hands-on expertise with industrial sewing machines.
• Good communication and classroom handling skills.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Fashion Design/Apparel Production.
• 2–5 years of teaching or industry experience in PMT/GMT.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹550.00 per hour
