Visiting Faculty - IKS (Indian Knowledge System)

The Raipur Institute of Technology (RITEE), established in 1995 by the Mahanadi Education Society, aims to provide quality technical education to aspiring students. The institute is approved by the AICTE and the State Government Directorate of Technical Education, and is affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Raipur for a Visiting Faculty in Indian Knowledge System (IKS). The Visiting Faculty will be responsible for delivering lectures, developing curriculum, conducting research, and engaging in scholarly activities related to Indian Knowledge Systems. Additionally, the role involves mentoring students, participating in academic events, and contributing to the growth and development of the IKS department.

AICTE has been making this effort for value-education and value-based education for value-based living since 2017.

For this it has already placed in its Model Curriculum two mandatory culture inputs: • Mandatory 3-week Student Induction Program for all newly joined students, which includes IKS-I: Introduction to Indian Culture and Civilization (with some present practices) • IKS-II: Indian Culture and Civilisation with its Knowledge Systems and Traditions (a non-credit mandatory course for all students during 2nd semester)
