Visa Filing Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Experienced Visa Filing Officer specializing in Tourist Visa applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling end-to-end visa filing procedures, excellent document verification skills, and the ability to guide clients through complex visa requirements with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete tourist visa filing process, including consultation, document collection, verification, and submission.
• Review client profiles and assess visa eligibility based on country-specific guidelines.
• Provide accurate information regarding visa requirements, processing times, fees, and rules.
• Prepare and check all documents such as forms, cover letters, financial documents, travel itineraries, and invites.
• Ensure all applications meet the embassy/consulate standards, minimizing errors and rejections.
• Maintain updated knowledge of visa policies, embassy updates, and procedural changes.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure timely submission of required documents.
• Track application status and update clients until visa decision is received.
• Manage confidential information responsibly and maintain proper record-keeping.
• Handle appointments, biometrics scheduling, and VFS/Embassy processes.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in tourist visa filing or related immigration services.
• Strong understanding of tourist visa documentation for major destinations (e.g., Schengen, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency with online visa portals, VFS systems, and digital form-filling.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer handling and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of travel & tourism industry is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a travel agency, visa consultancy, or immigration firm.
• Certification or training in travel/tourism or visa processing.
• Good understanding of financial assessment, cover letter drafting, and justification writing.

Work Environment

• Full-time, office-based role or Remote.
• May require periodic coordination with embassies, VFS centers, and travel partners.
