Position Responsibilities:

• Contact customers by phone or written communication to resolve delinquent amounts in a timely manner
• Build and maintain relationships with Customers, Sales and Operations to help resolve issues, and promote timely payment of invoices
• Accurately and effectively document all Collections efforts
• Manage the credit hold process to minimize the number of customers, and their finished units, on the Credit Hold list
• Inform management of potential risks for severe delinquencies or loss
• Utilize the available tools and techniques to minimize bad debt
• Maintain assigned portfolio in order to achieve the companys DSO goals
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required, along with any ad hoc requests
• Respond to audit requests by gathering requested back up for invoices and product delivery

Financial Responsibility:

• No cost centre responsibility; no profit & loss responsibility

Education:

• Any Graduation

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Billing and Collections.
• Experience working in a goal driven environment.
• Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• In depth knowledge and understanding of the FDCPA
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills; with the ability to building relationships both internally and externally
• Competent in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as part of a team to achieve goals
• Position requires schedule flexibility to complete month end closing tasks
