Videographer & Editor

Role Definition:

The videographer is responsible for understanding the clients’/project requirements, executing projects, and editing.

Responsibility Deliverables:

1) Communicating and understanding project requirements from the client or team.

2) Planning and pre-production.

3) Execution and post-production.

Tasks and Activities:

1) Communicating and understanding clients’/project requirements:

• Communicating with the sales team, and chief of operations to understand the technical requirements and scope of work.
• Communicate with the head of operations to fix an agreeable shoot date with the clients, if none has been fixed.

2) Planning and pre-production:

• Prepare a list of equipment required, deliverables, and delivery timelines, if none are fixed.
• Do a location recce as and when required.
• Checking for references and ideas to execute the shoot.
• Research photography trends and techniques to continuously improve your skills.
• Come up with storyboarding and mood boards as and when required.
• Coordinating with the head of operations for the required equipment list and getting it ready for the shoot.

3) Execution and post-production:

• Coordinating with the head of operations on information such as the time of the shoot, location, point of contact, and other finer details required for a smooth shoot flow.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Collaborating seamlessly with external vendors on-site working on the project.
• Represent Mayartha Productions with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
• Returning equipment and backing up data on completion of the shoot.
• Sorting and processing data to achieve desirable output.
• Review final videos for errors or inconsistencies, making necessary revisions as needed.
• Updating the log of project status for the operations executive to communicate to the client.
• Completing projects as per delivery timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
