Your role will also involve working closely with the marketing team to understand project goals and objectives, translating direction into engaging visual stories, and optimizing videos for various digital platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Proficiency in video editing software tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is essential, along with staying updated on the latest features and best practices in the industry. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role, as you will be required to work closely with other creatives like copywriters, graphic designers, and social media managers to ensure cohesive and aligned marketing campaigns. Your ability to interpret feedback, incorporate input from clients or team members, and effectively communicate ideas related to the editing process will be crucial for success in this position. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in video editing. Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, as well as knowledge of audio editing principles, video formats, codecs, and export settings are required. A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, technical skills, and versatility in design work will also be necessary.
