Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our content production team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying editing techniques, and adding special effects to create compelling video content that aligns with our brand and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished video content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts etc.)
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives
• Trim, cut, and rearrange footage to match scripts or storyboards
• Add music, dialogues, graphics, animations, sound effects, and transitions
• Color-correct and enhance video/audio quality
• Export final videos in required formats and resolutions
• Manage and archive video assets efficiently
• Stay up to date with industry trends and new editing tools or techniques

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling
• Familiarity with motion graphics and basic animation
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A creative eye and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (optional but a plus)
• Experience editing for specific industries (e.g., fashion, gaming, real estate, YouTube content)
• Knowledge of camera operation and filming is a bonus
