Video Editor

Role Overview

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing, motion design, and post-production of video content. You’ll work closely with the content, marketing, and design teams to turn raw footage, graphics and storyboards into polished videos that engage and inspire audiences. You must be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, have a good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, sound design, and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video content (social reels, long-form videos, ads, internal videos) from raw footage to final deliverables
• Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, visual effects in After Effects
• Assemble, cut, sequence, and color grade footage, add audio, synchronize B-roll, overlays
• Work with the creative / content team to storyboard and plan visual flows
• Apply branding, visual identity, logo animations, lower thirds, intros/outros
• Fine-tune audio (mixing, leveling, sound design, background music, effects)
• Export video in multiple formats (for web, social, broadcast) while ensuring quality and compression balance
• Maintain organization of project files, assets, version control
• Incorporate feedback and revisions, iterate efficiently
• Stay updated on video trends, tools, techniques, and propose ideas and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Film, Media, Animation, Design, or related field (or proven experience)
• 3+ years (or appropriate experience level) of professional video editing experience
• Expert level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong skills in Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, compositing, visual FX)
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, timing, and narrative structure
• Basic color grading / correction skills (Lumetri, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of audio editing and sound design (mixing, noise removal, layering)
• Comfortable working with different aspect ratios (16:9, 1:1, 9:16, etc.)
• Ability to receive feedback, iterate, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
• Keen attention to detail, visual aesthetics, craftsmanship
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
