About the job:

As a Video Editor, you will be an integral part of our marketing agency and work closely with internal stakeholders to visualize, film and edit all external brand communications. You will be responsible for ensuring that all our client’s marketing communications look visually appealing and are consistent with brand guidelines.


We need you to have an ace aesthetic and the ability to understand and execute the client’s brief. However, we're not looking for somebody to just execute but also contribute; we're looking for good visual inputs and for you to take ownership over your work with your skills and ideas.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • ⁠Direct and manage on-camera talent to ensure the desired outcome.
  • Frame, compose, and light shots creatively to achieve visual appeal.
  • Record clear and crisp audio using appropriate microphones and sound equipment.
  • Editing and producing videos for various marketing campaigns and social media content. Should know the art of video montage, color correction, and special effects.
  • Collaborate with the team in an agile work environment. Participate in daily meetings, maintain project documentation, and have the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Ensure that multimedia content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
  • Have a deeper understanding of social media platforms and content strategies. Contribute to the creation of content that resonates with our target audience.


Skills & Qualifications:

•⁠ ⁠On-going or completed Bachelor's degree in Mass Media, Video Production or a related field or gained experience through internships

  • Skilled at filming content on iPhone as well as DSLR
  • Skilled at video editing softwares: Adobe Creative Suite/ FCP as well as alternative options like CapCut & InShot
  • Familiarity with videography and video editing principles as well as great aesthetic sense and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a startup and take initiative wherever necessary. It is a multi-dimensional role and you will be expected to adapt accordingly.
  • Ability to churn out high-quality video output at a regular pace while taking ownership of your work and deliverables
