Job Description

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for manipulating and editing film pieces in a seamless manner to ensure an immersive experience for the audience. Your duties will include trimming footage segments, arranging the sequence of the film, incorporating music, graphics, and effects, as well as creating both rough and final cuts. It will be essential to maintain logical sequencing and ensure smooth transitions throughout the film. You should be constantly exploring and adopting new editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency in your work. The ideal candidate will have proven work experience as a Video Editor and possess a strong command of digital technology and various editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut. A demonstrable video editing capability showcased through a robust portfolio is required. A solid understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in video editing is crucial, along with familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing techniques. The role demands a creative mindset and strong storytelling skills to bring out the best in each film project.,
