Video Editor

About the Role:
Join Lightshadesfilms as a Video Editor and craft compelling visual stories. You'll edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for live client projects including corporate videos, event coverage, social media content, and brand campaigns.

Your Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into final, high-quality videos
• Apply color grading, transitions, effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling
• Work on diverse project types: corporate videos, event films, social media content, advertisements
• Collaborate with videographers, directors, and creative team members
• Ensure videos align with client briefs and brand guidelines
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Stay updated with current video trends and editing techniques
• Provide creative suggestions to improve video impact and engagement

What We're Looking For:

• 0-1 year of experience in video editing (freshers welcome)
• Portfolio with edited videos demonstrating storytelling and technical skills
• Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve (must have at least one)
• Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, color grading, and sound mixing
• Knowledge of video formats, resolution requirements, and platform-specific specifications
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
