Here's what you'll be working on

• Editing projects from raw footage to finished product based on story outlines
• Working alongside the host for story and creative direction
• Following preexisting workflows and conforming to established editing style
• Incorporating detailed notes and feedback from the team
• Managing large project files (2+ TB of raw footage) with 150mbit 4K source footage
• Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 2+ years editing experience with proven documentary and/or reality production experience
• Demonstrate strong storytelling/narrative abilities and excitement about telling interesting stories
• Present a professional portfolio showing storytelling/documentary experience
• Have 2+ years editing experience on Adobe Premiere (required for all projects)
• Be a fast learner who is self-directed and can operate under pressure
• Be willing to work as part of a team and follow existing workflows
• Have a fast internet connection and editing workstation with ample storage for large files

Preferred experience:

• Experience/interest/passion for technology/making/engineering/manufacturing
• Editing video specifically for YouTube with focus on viewer retention
• Color correcting LOG video formats and audio leveling/mastering
• Editing short form video for social media
