Job Description

Job Title: Junior Video Editor

Location: Lower Parel

Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into polished content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok, and other social media channels.
Add transitions, effects, subtitles, sound design, and motion graphics as needed.
Ensure consistency in style, branding, and storytelling across all video outputs.
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling narratives and video concepts.
Optimize videos for engagement, retention, and platform-specific requirements.
Stay current with editing trends, social media algorithms, and visual storytelling techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in digital marketing or content creation.
Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
Strong sense of pacing, visual rhythm, and storytelling.
Knowledge of social media formats, aspect ratios, and platform guidelines.
Basic understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics (After Effects or equivalent).
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience creating viral short-form content (Reels/TikTok).
Familiarity with YouTube SEO and content strategy.
Ability to adapt editing styles based on brand tone or campaign goals.
