Role Overview

As a Video Editor at DRK Productions, you will transform raw footage into compelling final videos that captivate audiences. You will work on a wide variety of creative projects, including wedding highlights, commercials, short-form social content, podcast episodes, YouTube videos, music videos, and more. This role offers the freedom to experiment with visual storytelling while meeting our high standards for quality. Responsibilities

• Video Editing: Use Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve to edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for weddings, events, ads, YouTube, social media, and music videos.
• Color & Sound: Apply color correction/grading, audio mixing, and sound design to ensure a high-quality final product.
• Motion Graphics: Incorporate basic motion graphics or visual effects (titles, transitions, animations) as needed to enhance storytelling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team (photographers, videographers, directors) to understand project requirements and implement feedback.
• Project Management: Organize and manage editing projects from start to finish, maintaining clear file structures and meeting deadlines.
• Quality Control: Review edits for continuity, pacing, and consistency, ensuring each video aligns with client expectations and brand guidelines.
• Creative Input: Contribute ideas and creative solutions during editing and pre-production discussions to elevate the final content.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional video editing experience (portfolio required), preferably on wedding or commercial projects.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve are mandatory. (Experience with other tools like After Effects or Final Cut Pro is a plus.) Note: We seek editors skilled with professional desktop software. Editing experience on mobile apps alone will not meet this requirement.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and workflows. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during post-production.
• Creative Skills: An excellent eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. Ability to perform color grading and basic graphic work to enhance the video’s appeal.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous about editing accuracy, audio sync, and final output quality.
• Communication & Teamwork: Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Able to take direction and feedback positively.
• Time Management: Capable of juggling multiple projects, setting priorities, and delivering work on schedule.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work full-time on-site in Jaipur, embracing a flexible approach to scheduling and project demands.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
