Video Creator

Key Responsibilities

• Source and curate high-quality video/image assets from media partners and free usage catalogs.
• Prioritize use of video over static images, ideally in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
• Ensure media is up-to-date (preferably within the past 72 hours to 1 month).
• Conduct thorough searches using internal and partner media platforms.
• Properly attribute all media assets to maintain licensing compliance.

• Match visual media with narrative context (e.g., accurate player/team footage in sports content).
• Avoid use of generic, irrelevant, or misleading media.
• Implement creative alternatives when exact footage is unavailable.
• Maintain consistency with brand/client messaging.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 1–6 years of experience in video production, digital content creation, or media curation.
• Strong visual storytelling instincts and narrative alignment.
• Proficiency with stock media platforms and licensing guidelines.
• Excellent research skills and high attention to detail.
• Understanding of different video formats, especially aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16).
• Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain quality under deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Background in journalism, media studies, or creative storytelling.
• Familiarity with media asset management systems.
• Understanding of branding guidelines in multimedia content.
• Knowledge of media licensing and copyright attribution.
• Experience with internal media management tools (optional but a plus).
