Location: Sindhubhavan Road, Ahmedabad

• Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format
• Deliverables: Corporate videos, testimonial videos, commercial ads, event videos, explainer videos and motion graphics films.
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
• Editing Skills: Take a brief to grasp production team's needs and specifications. Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film with dialogues and graphics.

• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.

• Create rough and final cuts.

• Understanding of Sound recording, Music compositing, and special effects

• Improve video and sound quality using various video software

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications/Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut, Audition, Capcut.)
• Production and Cinematography experience will be an added advantage
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Experience editing various video projects including reels editing and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
• Familiarity with special effects, and compositing
• Understanding of video formats, compression techniques and format
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Thorough knowledge of timing and continuity
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
