Job Description

Job Summary:

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw video footage into polished content for marketing, social media, ads, and internal use
Add music, dialogues, graphics, transitions, sound effects, and special effects as required
Work closely with the content and marketing teams to understand video objectives
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product
Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Stay updated with the latest editing trends and tools
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio
Proficiency in editing software such as
Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
Good understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual design
Knowledge of color grading and sound editing is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Design, or related field is preferred (optional)

Nice to Have:

Basic animation or motion graphics skills
Experience with YouTube or social media content strategy
Photography or visual storytelling experience
