Educational Background: Preferably from top design/film/media institutions (e.g., NID, FTII, MIT ID, Mudra, Srishti design , Symbiosis Institute of Design, etc.)

S-VYASA is a globally recognized university promoting holistic education rooted in the yogic sciences and modern research. As we expand our digital footprint, we are seeking a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our media team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form and short-form videos for promotional, academic, and social media content.
• Work closely with creative teams, faculty, and marketing departments to understand the purpose and tone of each video.
• Assemble raw footage, add sound effects, background music, graphics, and animations where necessary.
• Ensure logical sequencing, narrative flow, and brand alignment.
• Edit interviews, lectures, documentaries, and promotional campaigns with a keen sense of storytelling.
• Optimize video outputs for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and educational portals.
• Maintain a catalog of edited footage and archive all raw and edited media in an organized format.

Key Requirements:

• 4–5 years of proven work experience as a Video Editor.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Film Editing, Communication Design, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Strong preference for candidates from reputed design/film/media schools.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and other video editing tools.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and mood-setting through audio-video integration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of branding and design consistency in video assets.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects will be a strong plus.
• A strong portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
